The Youth Department is designed to prepare our youth to be conformed to the image of Christ, through the Word, prayer, in the power of the Holy Spirit. The Youth Department has a youthful atmosphere, where the young people can identify with others who love and serve God, and together share recreational activities, annual outings, retreats, special services led by the youth, evangelism, missionary trips, etc.
The youth meet in Maranatha every Tuesday, at 7:30 p.m., to praise the Lord with exciting music. The power of the Holy Spirit is felt in a marvelous way! The teaching emphasizes subjects that are of interest to youth, current events, prayer, boy/girl relationships, service to God, evangelism, etc. … everything that is basic to spiritual growth and to help the young person develop a personal relationship with God.
